Halloweeeeen.

Halloween started on the Friday,

in the courtyard at Shockoe Bottom,

                              courtesy of the Ranios:

into a theme-full weekend of monster puppets

Arts & Crafts.

(Couldn't resist the scissors sign for the KK packaging. I hoped that if I cut them out,
someone might just play puppets with them. I was not to be disappointed!)

& decorated house-fronts:

Mini pumpkin lights ~ so cute!

Julie ('Paint') also brought us Halloween cookies to top floor!

I had only seen the Nativity version of these so I was quite excited to discover the other.

Who wants to try & name all the shapes?  A prize for the winner!
....  Update: Wraggle = Winner!

My cookie of choice being ...
That famous Halloween Lobster, of course!

(Well, almost. Julie's family comes from Maine so cheeky wee Lobster had snuck into the mix.)

To October 31st itself,

we celebrated with Fall-flavour doughnuts (KK's Pumpkin Spice)

(Emily [commanding]: "Nikki, you must wear the hat."
Me [enthusiastic/obliging]: "Okay!" So I did.)

& the $5 horror movie collection (8 films for $5. 62c/film!)

Charles Band, Director, gave us vampires, seedy nightclubs, reptilian puppets,
a midget, stilted dialogue, an Italian werewolf, castle & curse & mystery painting. Awesome.
