Beer Fest. (Part IV)

Everyone was working/out of town/otherwise occupied when ABB came around. I was not to be deterred so took myself off back down to S.17th to try out some local beers for less.

I decided against the pint option (drunk, disorderly & alone in a marketplace doesn't really pass muster) & had the sample-sized cups instead. I tried the following:
-  Midnight Rockville Red Ale - Goochland, VA:
I've not drunk much Red before. Emily had introduced me to it at Celtic Fest & I've since seen its faux Irish Killian's beer in K.Roger. Pretty nice.

- Wolf Hills Trooper Alley IPA & White Blaze Honey Cream Ale - Abingdon, VA.
Honey Cream definitely the sweeter of the two & more preferable to my palate.

- The brand spanking new James River Brewing from Scottsville, VA.
Green Eyed Lady Pistachio Saison. Fairly tasty with some good flavour.
- My absolute local favourite, Legend's Chocolate Porter. Mmmm.

Richmond's due another four breweries, all in the planning stages at present:
Ardent; Ajax; Strangeways; Haxall and in Roanoke, Parkway Brewing Co. Nice!
