Byrd.

It's been on my Bucket List but it's looking unlikely that I'll be able to attend late April through August. At least not for the Saturday night affair of Bob Gulledge playing the Wurlitzer Organ ahead of the film.

Hence I walked up to Carytown to check out the Byrd & see Lincoln ("FILMED 100% IN VIRGINIA") whilst I still had a weeknight going spare.

The Byrd is a second run movie theater so it's luck of the draw as to what's due to be screened. But then with tickets $2 a time, you can't really go wrong with your choice.
I even braved Identity Thief on my second visit & that's not exactly my regular cup o'tea. But for "£1.32" though...  ;)

Fancy interior.

(I now get excited when I see the face of "Daniel Day Lewis" looking back at me from a $5 bill. I know his story!)

Good film. I managed to not cheer loudly as Scotty had his moment in Spielberg history.
